Sweet New Tilda...SirStampalot.

and doing ok too?

it was Sophie's last day at school today,

just can't believe it really and her 16th next week

then prom the week after...

a nicer busy time after all those exams :)

i loved making this little card

with the very sweet new... Tilda Binding Flowers.

 

 

i have coloured with distress markers,

 ( i really do need to practice hair colouring alot more :)  

the little sentiment is from Vintage Labels stamp set

by Wild Rose,a couple of flowers made from

Die-namics-Prima Donna Petals die,

also used the DooHickey foliage die

and a bit of sparkle with gelly roll pen...
the key has been frantaged with Aged Teal
and a small button near the flowers too...

my make today for LOTV guest designer

really enjoyed making this,

even though it felt a bit funny just colouring

 part of the rose and my hexagons are a bit bigger too.

love this new stamp from the Vintage Flora and Fauna set

and the Grungy Relations stamp-Mum.

LOTV *Pretty Vintage*...sweet surprise pop up card.

Hi..hope your week is going ok?
i have a make with some of the gorgeous
new **Pretty Vintage** stamps which are
available now over at LOTV...

for the front of my pop up card
i have used one of the Fabulous statement stamps,
 coloured with distress markers and made a flower too

then tucked under a Grungy Wish tab
and you can just see a bit of a Journalling Tag
(they are so lovely)

for the back of my card i have stamped
the clock background ,stamped it again
on plain card for the clock face and
 it's at the time for afternoon tea :)
the old picture image is stamped from
Tags Madame and the little frame is a die cut-
frantaged with aged silver and around the clock too

this sweet image is Hello Cupcake,coloured

with distress markers,so sweet is from the words for tags set

and the with love tag from Tags Madame

sorry this is a bit long...
the teapot and cup/saucer are from
a sizzlits set ,i have used another of the Journalling tags
 for the tab to write a message on,
 added a button,paper clip and charm

the decorative strip is Vintage Lace,
the paper is by Bildmalarna
and the die to do the pop up bit is Sizzix Scallop circle

for my make i have decorated a note book...

i really enjoyed making this,

 just love all the new designs...
 i have used one of the Quotables-Go For It stamps

i have also used one of the journalling tags..
there is 9 on just one stamp sheet :)
they are all gorgeous***

i have made some little shrink plastic charms too..
 with the vintage tags stamps-
Le Jardin and Monsieur then
threaded them on some little wire rings
and tied a piece of ribbon

Scrapbook page..new ""Pretty Vintage""

Hi..hope you have had a good day?

this is an 8x8 page that i did last week,

it is Autumn themed as i took the photo last October

and a bit simple too but loved making it... 

the photo isn't clear but just love that look on George's face :)

i have used a few of the new LOTV "Pretty Vintage" stamps...

over stamped George's photo with one of

the background stamps from a set of 4-""Flora and Fauna"",

the little round SON wording is from ""Grungy Relations""

and  so love the cute journalling tag at the top

which comes on a set of 9-can't wait to use these more :)

the kraft looks a bit too plain so i might add some stitching,

the leaf paper shape is cut from Grand Nesties-Labels One,

also used the Go Kreate-Frilly#10 die

and cut a circle out of the middle so i could 

tuck the photo in.I have bought just a small
Dymo label embosser which works fab.

 a little make today with one of the *gorgeous* new

LOTV Vintage clear stamps...just love them all,

this one is from the "Old Romance" set...

 i have used Chalks to colour,

which i haven't done for ages and
 it was really nice to have a go again 

the little tag is also from the new Vintage stamp sets..

"Le Jardin"

the butterfly is cut from..Elizabeth Craft die,

tab is a Die-namics die and

 the pretty edge is from Sizzix..Accent/leaves,

 used a couple of brads,charm,lace and a button too.

Sneak Peek-New..LOTV Pretty Vintage stamps.

  Hi.. bit late tonight with my post,

hope you are doing ok?

we went out for a walk..really nice evening for a change :)

Nick and i walked ahead of our two

just a bit and we couldn't believe it

as we came across a Badger set

and for the first time ever we saw a Mum and her 3 cubs

it was amazing but they sadly didn't hang around 

so Soph and George didn't get to see them this time
(sorry just had to say about it as it really was exciting) 

 

back to my make...

LOTV are releasing a totally *gorgeous*

new range of A5 clear stamp sheets...they are all so lovely

and i have made this card with one of the 4 stamps

of the Old Romance set from the new

 Pretty Vintage Stamps collections...

really enjoyed making this,just added bits

as i went along,stamped the image in purple ink

 and used a new frame die by

Memory Box-Mansfield Frame

the flower and squiggle border are 

MFT Die-namics dies

also used a LOTV grunge word and sentiment

added a little charm,few gems and a button.

a few photos from our walk too...

i am no photographer at all and used Nick's phone :)

It is very simple and i tried to make it a bit clean lol..

what a quick week..

hope you have had a nice one too,

been busy doing makes for a demo day coming up very soon

and just couldn't resist colouring this sweet image..

 it is a bit of a step card,

not that clear on the not very straight photo lol..
loved colouring this so much (distress markers) and had

great fun doing the little Joy Crafts-Noor Design fence/birdhouse

the lovely papers are LOTV too-
Country Gent and Bear Necessities 
 the small sign is threaded with wire and

 used one of the word stamps,the blackbird
has been stamped onto shrink plastic
and heated so he isn't too big..
(love what you can do with shrink plastic)
 the foliage is a die and i used the clear tags
 with TH Decorative strip for the Dad tag,
used a brad and a button too...

really sorry not been here much,

have been crafting ready for a class in

a couple of days and creating
with these lovely new Lili of the Valley

boys images which are out very soon..

this sweet image is... **Vegetable Patch**

loved colouring with distress markers,

also used a bit of silver-VersaColor for his garden fork,

the barbed wire is cut from Die-namics die

and frantaged with aged silver-

while it was still warm i pressed a 

textured stamp onto the wire

to make it look a bit more aged/distressed.
the wording is from a sentiments set
and the Greetings postmarks set 
used a couple of mini brads,
a button and the shape of the card is cut
from Go Kreate Frilly #10 dies.

patchwork hanger...LOTV.

Hi..hope you are ok this morning?

a little patchwork hanger for my make today...

i have used the really pretty new image..
 ""Primulas and Bluebells"" from LOTV...

loved colouring it in and making it
 but had a bit of a moment

when i was trying to line it up

with the Sizzix hexagon cutting die..
also used one of the Everyday Grunge Messages,
 i have distressed around the hexagon pieces with frayed burlap
and when glued together added fake stitching.
the little hanger i have had for ages,
used a bit of lace and stitched some buttons on too.
the outer shape is the smallest of
Go Kreate Frilly #10 dies

Hi.. really lovely to be the weekend
and a sunny one too..

 from the Curio paper pad-
love the turquoise colour, a few different stamps too
 and loved making the backing paper with
Mini Ledger 6x6 template by The Craft Workshop

""Little Cute Tilda""...

Hi...hope you are doing ok?
and hopefully enjoying a bit warmer weather :)

i am really trying to catch up,
with Nick back to work
and Soph and George at school
i have loads to do but really miss them alot.

my card has ""Little Cute Tilda"" on it from
the new Magnolia Tilda collection
available at SirStampalot...

not sure if everything goes together but
it was great fun and even cutting out
a couple of those very thin mushrooms lol!
i have sat her on the Goblin tree stump,
used the Love Trees background stamp
and masked the trees so i could
paint the evening sun,trees (forest) and water background.
the sweet snail,mushrooms and cute corner
are from Magnolia too.
i have used aged silver frantage on
the corner,key and made a heart embellishment with it-
i punched a circle of card and added the frantage
a few times to build up the thickness and 
whilst it was still warm i pressed the heart shape into it.
coloured with distress markers
and used glossy accents on the mushrooms...


i would like to enter the MDUC challenge-masking
(hope the background masking with the Love trees qualifies)

added a few buttons,a bit of thread and

 some glossy accents to the hearts...

LOTV...special birthday.

Hi..hope you are having a nice week so far,
we have been out and about even though
a bit cold but the sun has been lovely
and Soph and i have started our evening walks,
feels so nice to have the bit lighter evenings :))
 my card is for a very"crafty"friend

who is celebrating** her birthday today

and i have used the lovely LOTV..Best Dress image...

what a sweetie to colour in,
i used distress markers,VersaColor cubes
and she does have a bit of sparkle
 but hard to see on the photo.
also used the LOTV-grunge ticket stamp,
words and sentiment set.
the papers are My Mind's Eye,
the Magnolia corner die,iron gate,
centre of the flower have been embossed
with frantage aged spice
and used the lovely Sizzix decorative strip-
accent and leaves.
 added a button and brads.

 these lovely new art and sketch pads will be launched
along with the new stamps this weekend.
You can get them at the shop in Leeds on Saturday 6th
and online from midnight on the 8th..not long :))

LOTV-new character's...

Hi..hope you are all doing ok?
today's card has two of the sweet

character's from the LOTV

new release...they are Jack and Patch

and the image is called "Hand Picked"

i have coloured them with

VersaColor cubes,the grass/flowers

and background with distress markers.

also used the lovely clear 

Cute as a Button stamp set to make the little tag

and the wording is from the Scroll sentiments set

the daisies are from a Quickutz die-
 have left the centres out,the little paw
on the tab is from an old punch that i have had for a while,
added a button,TH mini paperclip and some thread.

Easter...BasicGrey Challenge.

Hi...hope you are doing ok?

when i was making this card i was

thinking of those bright Spring sunny mornings

which we will have soon..

loved making it..i have used some of

the dotty BasicGrey- pb&j whole wheat paper..

for our new Challenge at BasicGrey 
 which is a card/project for Easter...

love this Magnolia rooster

even though i have coloured it a bit dark,

the trees,fence and sentiment are also Magnolia stamps.

i have coloured with distress markers,did

a bit of fake stitching and distressing.

the dotty orange card has been embossed

with Cricut Cuttlebug folder-Chicken wire and border

and sanded it lightly.
also used TH decorative strip alphabet for wording,
vintage lace die

and a new Joy Craft Die-vintage flourishes
a couple of brads and BG button...
